We take privacy seriously here at Cromulent Labs. And we know that you don't want to wade through a bunch of legalese, so here is our privacy policy in plain English.
We are not spammers and we will not send you any unsolicited email. We make our money through in-app purchases.
We don't collect or store any device information or personal information about you in our app.
If you provide access to your Calendar, Contacts, Reminders, or Photo Library, we only use that access to add events, contacts, reminders, and photos. The data is not viewed or stored by us and never leaves your device.
When you choose to scan an image, it is sent to our server which does not keep a copy of the image. But it does send it to Google Gemini for AI processing. See THIRD PARTIES section below for more information.
Scan History is stored privately in iCloud and synced across your devices. It can only be seen and accessed by you.
A random anonymous identifier (Visual IQ Account ID) is created by the app is sent to our servers to keep track of rate limits. It is tied to your Apple Account, but we don't know what your Apple ID is or any personal information you have associated with your Apple Account. If you purchase a subscription, that subscription is associated with this anonymous identifier and shared with our in-app payment partner, RevenueCat, in order to increase your rate limits. You can see your Account ID in the About screen in the app.
We use Google Gemini to analyze images and prompts scanned in the app in order to provide our AI responses via their APIs. We don't send any other information or identifiers to them.
You can view Google Gemini's privacy policy here: https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
We use RevenueCat's SDK to help process our in-app payments. We share your Visual IQ Account ID with RevenueCat in order to match your Visual IQ account with your App Store subscription in RevenueCat. They may also collect additional information via their SDK.
