We take privacy seriously here at Cromulent Labs. And we know that you don't want to wade through a bunch of legalese, so here is our privacy policy in plain English.
We are not spammers and we will not send you any unsolicited email. We make our money through in-app purchases.
If you choose to share your email address, we use it to send you app updates. We store it with our email provider, Kit (ConvertKit), and we will never spam you or sell your address to anyone for any reason. When you submit your email we may also record basic attribution information such as your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the ad or link that referred you, and share a hashed (non-reversible) version of your email with Meta so we can measure how well our advertising works.
If you provide access to your Calendar or Photo Library, we only use that access to add games, reminders, and photos/videos. The calendar data are not viewed or stored by us and never leave your device. Photos and videos are stored securely in iCloud for iOS users and in Firebase Storage for Android users.
Player data (name, team, photos, videos, stats) are stored on our servers so that it can be synced to all of your devices and any co-parents or coaches with whom you choose to share. It is not viewed by us unless there is a customer support request that requires it, and we do not share or sell the data to anyone.
If you choose to import schedules or scoresheets, the images or PDFs are sent to Google Gemini solely in order to extract the relevant data. Along with the image or PDF we send a small amount of context to help with the extraction, such as your player's name, number, and team, plus your timezone and app version. The images and PDFs are not stored by us or Google, nor are they shared with anyone else. You can view the Google Privacy Policy in THIRD PARTIES below.
We collect anonymous usage analytics through Google Firebase, for example which features are used, and when games are created, imported, or shared, so we can understand how the app is used and make it better. These events are tied to your anonymous My Player Page Account ID, never to your name or email.
A random anonymous identifier (My Player Page Account ID) is created by the app and sent to our servers to store player data. On iOS, it is tied to your Apple Account, but we don't know what your Apple ID is or any personal information you have associated with your Apple Account. On Android, it is associated with your Google Account, but we don't know what your Google Account is or any personal information associated with your Google Account. If you purchase a subscription, that subscription is associated with this anonymous identifier and shared with our in-app payment partner, RevenueCat, in order to increase your rate limits. You can see your Account ID in the About screen in the app.
On iOS, we access the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and share it with Meta only if you choose to allow the app to track when you are asked. On Android, we access the Google Advertising ID and share it with Meta to measure how well our advertising works. Android does not ask you per-app, but you are still in control: you can delete or reset the identifier at any time in Android Settings under Privacy → Ads. In both cases this identifier is used only to measure advertising effectiveness, and it is never associated with your player data.
My Player Page is built for a parent or guardian to track their own child's sports season. Any information about a child, such as name, number, team, photos, and videos, is entered by the adult who controls the account, stored under that account's anonymous identifier, and shared only with the co-parents or coaches that the account holder chooses to invite. We do not allow children to create their own accounts, we never use a child's information for advertising, and we never sell it. If you believe a child's information has been provided to us without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.
You're in control of your data. You can delete any individual player, season, game, photo, or video from within the app at any time. You can also delete your entire account from the app's Settings screen, this permanently removes your player data, photos, and videos from our servers (Firebase, Firebase Storage, and iCloud) and cancels your association with RevenueCat. If you'd prefer, you can also email us and we'll take care of it for you.
We use Google Gemini to import schedules and scoresheets in the app. We only send the image or PDF being imported plus the small amount of context described above; we don't send any other information or identifiers.

We use RevenueCat's SDK to help process our in-app payments. We share your My Player Page Account ID with RevenueCat in order to match your My Player Page account with your App Store subscription in RevenueCat. They may also collect additional information via their SDK.

We use Google's Firebase and Crashlytics SDKs to store your player data, record anonymous usage analytics, and report app crashes so that we can fix them as soon as possible. Crash reports and analytics events are associated with your anonymous My Player Page Account ID so we can diagnose issues, but not with your name or email. Player data is stored securely in Firebase. They may also collect additional information via their SDKs.

We use Facebook's SDK and advertising tools to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, for example when the app is installed, when an account is set up, when a trial starts, and when a purchase is made. As described above, these measurements use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), and we may also share a hashed version of your email with Meta for ad measurement. They may also collect additional information via their SDK.

Cromulent Labs uses reasonable efforts to help protect your personal information against unauthorized access and unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, we cannot guarantee that your personal information will be absolutely protected. For example, your personal information may be affected by actions outside of our control, such as computer "hacking" and physical theft. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post all changes to this Privacy Policy on this page and will indicate at the top of the page the modified policy's effective date.
